Privacy Policy

This policy (together with the general terms and conditions of business and any other documents referred to in it) sets out the basis on which any personal data Onilo Limited (“the Company”) collects from you, or that you provide to the Company, will be processed by it. Please read the following carefully to understand the Company’s views and practices regarding your personal data and how the Company will treat it. By visiting and using the Company’s website, you agree to these terms.

1.  Collection and use of your personal data

1.1  The Company undertakes to comply with applicable data protection laws. This data protection policy applies to the Company's website, but not to any websites which it links to and you are advised to check the privacy policy of any third party websites before submitting any personal data to them.

1.2  The Company may collect and process the following data about you:

·       Information that you provide by filling in forms on the Company’s site. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use the site, ordering products or services, posting material or requesting further services. The Company may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site.

  • If you contact the Company, the Company may keep a record of that  correspondence.
  • The Company may also ask you to complete surveys that it uses for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
  • Details of transactions you carry out through the site and of the fulfilment of your orders.
  • Details of your visits to the site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.
  • Your email address when you subscribe for newsletters

1.3  To answer your questions, process your requests or manage your account, the Company sometimes requires personal data such as your name, address, email address and telephone number. The Company may use this data to answer your questions or to contact you by post, email or telephone in order to inform you of new products, services or offers from Company and its affiliates. If you order a product, request a service or upload data to the website, the Company may have to contact you in order to obtain additional information that is required in order to process or execute your order or to deal with your request.

1.4.  The Company, on its own initiative or at your request, may complete, correct or delete incomplete, erroneous or outdated personal data that the Company stores.

1.5  The Company may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to third parties. This is statistical data about the Company’s users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

1.6  You hereby grant the Company the right to transfer your data to its affiliates.  

2.  Protection of your data

The Company will transmit your personal data over the Internet in encrypted form. However, the provision of personal data, whether this is done face-to-face, by telephone or over the Internet, always involves risks and no technical system is completely immune to manipulation or sabotage. The Company will take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorised access to your personal data as well as the unauthorised use of this data. It is your responsibility to ensure that any user names and passwords issued to you are kept confidential.

3.  Use of cookies   

You do not remain anonymous when you log in or access the website. Each time you visit the website and open a file, access data concerning this process is saved in a protocol file on the Company’s server without being associated with a specific individual. This includes the internet protocol address (IP address), the page from where the file was requested, the date, the time, the type of browser, the operating system, the page you have visited, the volume of data transmitted and the access status (file transmitted, file not found etc.). This data is used to generate statistics that help the Company adapt the its web services to your requirements. In addition to the personal information provided, the website uses "cookies", i.e. text files that are saved on your computer. This is a technique that is used to collect user-specific settings and technical information which allow you to be identified. This information shows when and how users use the website and allows the Company to continually improve the website. Using cookies has the advantage that you may not have to enter personal data again when filling in various forms on the website. The use of cookies is common and a usual practice on many websites. Cookies are stored on your computer and not on the website. The Company only uses cookies to read information on the user's hard disk that has been stored there by a cookie from this website. 4. Google web analysis services 

The Company's website uses Google Analytics, Google Adwords and Google Adsense. These are web analysis services of Google Inc., USA ("Google"). Please note that the Company will provide you at any time with the information about the data the Company is collecting. Just inform us by written request at infoonilo.co.uk.

4.1 Google Analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies that allow an analysis of the way users use websites. The information generated by cookies concerning the use of the Company’s website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google uses this information to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activities for the operators of the websites and to provide further services in connection with the use of the website and the internet. Google may also transmit this information to third parties in as far as this is required by law or if third parties process this data on Google's behalf. In no event will Google associate your IP address with any other Google data. By using the website you indicate that you agree to Google processing your data in the form described above and for the aforementioned purpose. 

4.2 Remarketing/Retargeting/Audience Targeting

The Company’s website uses targeting technologies provided by Google Adsense and Google Adwords. These web services are used to anonymously record page requests and to place third party advertisements on Company’s website. They allow the Company to advertise based on users' interests. Therefore, Google will use targeting or advertising cookies to display online adverts on a basis of users' browsing habits in order to make advertising relevant to the user and the users' interests. If you do not wish for Google to collect your data via the Company's website, please inform us via email at infoonilo.co.uk. In addition you may prevent the installation of Google cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly; please be informed that not all functions of the Company's website may be available in their full capacity.

5. Use of Facebook social plugins

Some of the Company's  websites use social plugins ("plugins") of the social network facebook.com, run by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The plugins bear a Facebook logo or are labelled "Facebook Social Plugin". If you visit a page on the Company’s website containing such a plugin, your browser will set up a direct connection to Facebook servers. The contents of the plugins will be sent directly to your browser by Facebook; your browser will then incorporate these contents into the web page. The incorporation of the plugin tells Facebook that you have visited the relevant page of the Company’s website. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can record this visit in your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, e.g. by clicking on the "Like" button or by making a comment, the appropriate information will be sent from your browser directly to Facebook and stored there. For the purposes and scope of data collection, further processing and use of your data by Facebook as well as your associated rights and possible settings for protecting your private sphere, please refer to Facebook's data protection policy (www.facebook.com/policy.php). If you do not wish for Facebook to collect your data via the Company’s website you must first log out on Facebook before visiting our website.

6.  Third party advertising, links to other websites

6.1  Occasionally, the Company's website contains third party advertising on some pages and interactive references to the websites of third parties (known as links). The Company bears no responsibility for these links. In particular, the Company has no influence on the content and design of the external pages or the websites that you reach via these links. The providers in question bear sole responsibility for the content and design of these websites and for compliance with data protection law.

6.2  Certain advertisers or companies occasionally use techniques which cause advertising to appear on the Company's website or to be sent directly to your browser, so your IP address is automatically transmitted as well. The advertisers or companies in question sometimes use cookies as described under point 3 and other technical devices in order to measure the effectiveness of their advertising or to optimise its contents. The Company has neither access to nor any form of control over these cookies or other technical devices. This privacy policy therefore does not cover the use of data by these third parties. Please contact the relevant provider directly to enquire about their provisions for data protection.

7. Use of your data

As well as the uses of data about you described elsewhere in this policy, the Company uses information held about you in the following ways:

·       To ensure that content from the Company’s site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.

  • To provide you with information, products or services that you request from the Company or which the Company considers may interest you.

  • To provide information to the Company’s third party suppliers necessary for the purpose of supplying products and services that you have requested to you.

  • To carry out our obligations arising from the services and products provided by the Company to you.

  • To allow you to participate in interactive features of the Company’s service, when you choose to do so.

  • To notify you about changes to the Company’s products and services

The Company may also use your data to provide you with information about goods and services which may be of interest to you and the Company may contact you about these by post, email or telephone. If you do not want the Company to use your data in this way please notify the Company at the address below.

The Company does not disclose information about identifiable individuals to its advertisers, but it may provide them with aggregate information about tis users. The Company may also use such aggregate information to help advertisers reach the kind of audience they want to target. The Company may make use of the personal data it has collected from you to enable us to comply with our advertisers’ wishes by displaying their advertisement to that target audience.

8. Disclosure of personal data to third parties, credit check

8.1   The Company  may disclose your personal information to its affiliates.

The Company may disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • In the event that the Company sells or buys any business or assets, in which case the Company may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets
  • As permitted by applicable law
  • If the Company or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
  • If the Company is under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply any of its agreements with you; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, its customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

9. Your rights

You have the right to ask the Company not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. The Company will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if it intends to use your data for such purposes or if it intends to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms the Company uses to collect your data. 10. Access to information

The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet the Company’s costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

11. Amendments

The Company may amend this data protection policy or the contents of the page at any time - even without prior notice. The Company may also modify or disable this page. The Company therefore recommends that users read this data protection policy each time they visit the website so that they are always aware of the purposes for which the Company processes user data.
